Alexander Robotnick aka Maurizio Dami is an Italian electronic artist and DJ. He made his debut on the Italian music scene as the founding member of Avida, a "dance-cabaret band" featuring Daniele Trambusti and Stefano Fuochi. They released one record, "La Bustina" in 1981. In 1983 Maurizio attained international popularity under the pseudonym "Alexander Robotnick" with the release of "Problèmes D'Amour".  | Alexander Robotnick - Computer Sourire 1983 Italo Disco www.robotnick.it www.youtube.com/mauriziodami Bio The alias of jazz keyboard player and vocalist Maurizio Dami, Alexander Robotnick existed for several years during the mid-'80s as an Italian synth-pop/disco crossover for the Italian label Materiali Sonori. Robotnick enjoyed a healthy fan base far beyond Europe, however, as thousands of import copies of the single "Problèmes d'Amour" ended up influencing many later house and techno pioneers in Chicago and Detroit. Dami, who began his musical career during the early '80s with visions of being an electronic cabaret singer, bought two Roland synthesizers (the seminal TR-808 and TB-303) to begin recording. Convinced by Materiali Sonori's Giampiero Bigazzi to move into the still fertile Italian disco scene to score a quick hit, Dami recorded "Problèmes d'Amour" and released the single on the Materiali Sonori subsidiary Fuzz Dance in 1983. It became quite an import hit in America's underground club scene, and sparked the mini-LP Ce N'est Qu'un Début that same year. Additional singles like "Computer Sourire" and "C'Est La Vie" appeared on Fuzz Dance during the mid-'80s, but Dami had already moved on by then, later recording under his own name and as GMM, then playing with the ethno-ambient band Masala in the 1990s. |

| Don't Close Your Eyes, two split albums, and three full-length albums, Killing With a Smile, Horizons and Deep Blue.Parkway Drive formed in the summer of 2003, their name coming from the street they used to practice on in their home town of Byron Bay, Australia. Not long after they had formed, they released a split EP with Adelaide band I Killed The Prom Queen who have since disbanded. Later that year, the band also made an appearance on the Byron Bay Hardcore compilation What We've Built, preceded by their debut EP, Don't Close Your Eyes. | |||||||||||||||

Ray Noble and his Orchestra Greatest Hits
Ray Noble (December 17, 1903 April 3, 1978) was a British bandleader, composer, arranger and actor. Noble studied music at the Royal Academy of Music and became leader of the HMV Records studio band in 1929. The band, known as the New Mayfair Dance Orchestra, featured members of many of the top hotel orchestras of the day. The most popular vocalist with Noble's studio band was Al Bowlly.Noble played the piano but seldom did so with his orchestra.

Noble and Bowlly's 1934 recording of "Midnight, the Stars and You" was prominently featured on the soundtrack of Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining in 1980.

| DJ Yoda (born Duncan Beiny) is a British hip-hop turntablist.Between 1995 and 1998 he studied English and American Literature at the University of Warwick. During this period he began performing at Mojo, a popular Warwick Hip hop and Soul night until he graduated. After he left university he began releasing underground demo mix-tapes to small music shops. Through the popularity of these tapes, Antidote Records asked him to create an official mixtape, from which 'How to Cut & Paste Mix Tape Vol.1' was released. | |||||||||||||

| Rings is Nina Mehta, Abby Portner and Kate Rosko, three women who live and play in New York City. The three of us came together when Abby joined in June of 2006, after Nina and Kate and former member Melissa Livaudais released an album and seven inch under the name First Nation. Lee Wiley Night In Manhattan
Lee Wiley (1908-1975) was a Jazz Vocal singer who sang American Songbook tunes in the 1930s through the 1950s. Sometimes called "A Jazz Singer's Singer), she remains popular to hard-core Jazz fans. She was one of the first artists to record a "songbook" collection (records where all of the songs were written by one composer.)Her "signature" song was "Manhattan."
